About James Gordon
How James Gordon started
James started the business because he loves a good, useful leather bag, and there weren't enough quality leather bags in New Zealand and Australia. Most of what he found was either overpriced or didn't last.
So he set out to sell real leather, honestly priced. Today customers from Whangārei to Nelson carry our bags to work and on the road.
What we hold ourselves to
Our leather is organic buffalo and goat, a by-product that would otherwise go to waste. The fittings, latches and buttons are long lasting brass, and we keep plastic and petroleum products to a minimum.
We put customers first and we're straight with you. We'll tell you honestly which bag suits what you carry.
We also give back. Community groups, sports clubs, schools and workplaces can raise funds with our bags, and we treat them as partners from the first conversation.
